A super list of Dota 's Hard to Use Hero

If you don't know what is DotA until now, you must be
(1) A monk who had isolated for a decade on Mount Tibet
(2) A travelling spaceman on interstellar mission who had recently returned to Earth

Well, for the rest of us, DotA either means
Defence of the Ancients or
The competitive multiplayer (except AI version) one of the most popular RTS modded games that requires
(i) Deception
(ii) Observation
(iii)Teamwork
(iv) Anticipate the unexpected

Nortom aka Silencer
I had no qualms about silencer. Hey even the skills(Last Word)  are the most sought after in the game. (Kill 1 Hero = +1 Int stats). But what most problem will find is the timing with the ulti skills (a.k.a Global Silence). I had many times had a qualm with the team members in the past about press the skill which is either too early (before the initiators start to attack and thus the effects of silence gone before the real attack )  or either late a few seconds (usually after tanker(s) had died) . So usually I will get response like
(From this points onward , Mr_No0ob is me lar! )

[BeePeePro]Mr_Sun: WTF r u doin ? Y ulti so late open ?/WTF ! Effect gone liao ler ,u  ccb noob mahai ckn dota player
[BeePeePro]Mr_No0ob : Solli ~~~ It won't happen again.

How to reduce nerd team rage?
Erm ... For me, either be a hero killer and stack up the Int and buy more Int based items to boost or stick with the teams leading hero killer to counter any spell spammer caster

Squee,Spleen and Spoon aka Goblin Techies
As the this heroes has one of the most unique gameplay in DotA universe and also can be easily tackled, this hero is one of the least picked heroes. How so ? First is their skills are mostly purely "ward based" ability. They maybe invisible but as towards the mid games, opponents might wise up a bit to buy items to reveals your invisible wards. That is when , you can hope and pray that someone is noob enough to walk into trap that you laid and didn't buy the gems or dust or wards. So again, let's say in -ar (all random) modes, you "unluckily" given that hero....

[BeePeePro] All other 4 members : NO !!!! Y u random tat nb hero !!!! Lolololozzzzzz.....
[BeePeePro]Mr_No0ob : = = ....

How to reduce nerd team rage?

Repick hero or swap hero or try to play this hero in smart way. Since you had limited mana pools so don't put mines in the lanes. Instead put it on the secret shops or the runes as you will damage them as you can plant even more mines on the same spots where they are likely to appear and they won't be set off by the creeps. Also, be sensible and try not to exhaust your mana as you will be spotted by enemy heroes and you can use Suicide skills if you are in inescapable situations.

Darkterror aka Faceless Void

Void is another good hero though in a hand of seasoned player but as luck would have it you need an considerable amount of luck to properly aim the ulti [which can freeze hero movement and action in localized time bubbles]. But because the ulti is AOE (Area of Effect) , aiming is seldom is the cause. The problems is when you (noob) helped to kill the hero, the team members will assume that you kill-steal (ks) the hero for your gain because when the enemies left only a few hp and you cast the ulti, friendlies hero will be also effected rendering them immobile to attack.This is what I experienced

[BeePeePro]H4|<3rs : U kns, ks my dinner
[BeePeePro]Mr_No0ob: Har? Help you to esc stun oso scold me .. = =

How to reduce nerd team rage?
If you want to be a serious kns player, go kns all the way ! Don't just stop at one , if possible, cast ulti when 5v5 converge together and get "Rampage" status -Kill-steall all of 5 ! Your teams will mostly thanks you and awed  for this one. Seriously, Cleaving attacks and Agi boosting items will help out tremendously in this one. Then "probably" they will forget earlier incidents as in my case.

Lanaya aka Templar Assasin

Lanaya is one of the hero that you need some potent skills of "Art of Shakuras" to play with such as anticipations of where the heroes would head and also some of advanced mathematical model of probability to plot the course of enemies hero movement to plot out the route used by enemies to max out the efficiency of the ulti used or just learn to rely your Intuition. It is highly dependent on the cunningness and intellect of the opponent members. Usually they will not get angry, just a bit teensy weensy disappointed.

[BeePeePro]o0oMapo0oHack: Aiks... if u put ulti up a bit, kan more senang finish off. waste..
[BeePeePro]Mr_No0ob : What to do ? Who noe he make 1 big turn like dat.

How to reduce nerd team rage?
A very debatable subjects. But most probably, try not to get killed during the game. Your Art of Shakuras is a very useful skills here and about the ulti, try to place it on the "river" that runs through the 3 lanes.

Pudge aka Butcher
Well , Pudge is the hero that will give kills if he is to be used correctly (since his combo is Hook, Rot, Disember and Repeat) but there is only things that noob will hate him that is his "hooking" skills.Unless you are a pro (or use the maphack), most probably noob will had more chance hooking a ally away who got the last hit on theenemies or they just hook the creeps every single time.

[BeePeePro]Meta-K1-Ol33r: = _= Miss call
[BeePeePro]Mr_N00b:  = = U think I like meh. . .

How to reduce nerd team rage ?
Brush up your "hooking" skills in the one of the epic wars maps (Forget the name of map)
Also train to speed up your response time of tri combo skills of Hook - Rot - Dismember.

Girls Hate DotA? According to research done by Prof Xu*, there are about 95% of girls quit DotA after playing for 3 months due to complexity level of the mastering the games.

*Not accredidated by IEEE and EAC yet (But may *will be :P)
*He also quit Dota games (Did not play even a single round for 3 months++ already) and spend more times on flash games nowadays due to increasing nerd rage from his clan members .

Got any of the heroes you want to add in ?
Drop a comment below if you agree / disagree !    :P

Designing Digital IIR Butterworth-LP Filter using Scilab

Well, after long time busying rushing my assignment, mid term test , mini projects and labs, I am free ~~~ a bit. XP . So today, to reward you all for patience, I present you the sample source code of designing digital IIR filter using the free way Scilab not Scios / Xcos ok !

The 1st time I heard of Scilab, this is what i had on my mind ! A Science Lab ....

(P.S: If anyone of you stumbled this code, you may 'plagiarized' refer it for your projects use, but hey, if your lecturer start ask you some questions of the scilab implementation for this particular Digital Signal Processing projects, don't start come begging/crying to me if it doesn't work as it should be or what is that functions of that coding part  ~~~

And BTW, this code can "run" on Scilab ver 5.2.2  just fine... If you had downloaded my scilab toolboxes... :P)

====================Start Copy From Here========================
//The analog prototype filter specifications
clc ; //Clean the previous console commands
wp = 0.2*%pi;
ws = 0.3*%pi;
Rp = 1;
Rs = 15;
Fs = 0.5;
T = 1/Fs;

//Prewarped Passband and Stopband Frequencies
OmegaP = (2/T)*tan(wp/2);
OmegaS = (2/T)*tan(ws/2);

[n,Omegac] = buttord(OmegaP,OmegaS,Rp,Rs,'s');

disp('The order of the filter is n= ');
disp('n');

//For H(S) transfer functions
[hs,pols,zers,gain]=analpf(n,'butt',0,Omegac);
A=coeff(denom(hs));
B=coeff(numer(hs));
figure(1);
freqz(B,A,512,%pi);
title('n=6 Butterworth Analog LP Filter')

//For H(Z) Transfer Functions
z=poly(0,'z')
hz=horner(hs,((1-(z^-1)/(1+(z^-1))))
C=coeff(denom(hz));
D=coeff(numer(hz));
figure(2);
freqz(D,C,512,%pi);

//Simulating digital filter
t=1:200;
Input=sin(0.1*%pi.*t)+sin(0.5*%pi.*t);

sl=tf2ss(hz);//Transfer functions to syslin representation
y=flts(Input,sl);//Filter the signal

figure(3)
subplot(211)
plot(t,Input);
xtitle('The Signal Before Using Digital Filter','t','y');
subplot(212)
plot(t,y);
xtitle('The Signal After Using Digital Filter','t','y');

===========================================================

You supposed get an output which are like this...

The testing of the digital Filter Signals

That's all , folks and wish you all a happy holiday !

UPDATES:
I had seen my coursemate coding works with a much more superior codes ( Means that they can design their digital butterworth filter without using the special SCILAB toolboxes provided by our lecturer ) Refer to my previous articles ~

Below is the their functions name and how it is used (According to them)

buttordc(): Function to calculate order of lter and its cut-o frequency
buttord(): Function to calculate order of lter
butterc(): Function to design analog Butterworth filter
butterd(): Function to design digital Butterworth lter using Bilinear Z - Transformation. ( BZT )

BTW, Tell you one most important thing~

I love Digital Signal Processing subject ! Wohoo !

Bee-Zee

Sorry for lack of updates for this month... Really caught up with lots of works to do !!!!!!!

:) Cut me off some slack, will ya ? :P

UPDATES: Fooling around with DSK5416 C5416 Digital Signal Processing Board by Texas Instrument. ^_^

Just mess with CCS (Code Composer Studio) a bit  using C programming and voila ! ! ! ! Here is my output.

◕‿◕ Wish that I can know a person feelings ~

Although Google is renown for its complex search engine algorithm that keeps getting better day by day, I really wish that sometimes we could really knows a person feelings towards us !

You wonder their smile is genuine or not. Sometimes, their caring spirit is based on sympathy or the empathy or they are just very nice and kind ....

Oh man ~~~ Am I getting <3 sick ? T_T . . .

Anyway, somehow sometimes I knew that we can surely know for sure that MATLAB can solve the equations for us !

Heck, how I wish everything in life can be answered by using 101010 (101010 is binary which is converted to decimal number of 42) = = . . . . .

Although I miss the 10 October 2010 by a week, I wish everyone the binary power day .

Differences between us . . .

Just like the eggs below, no matter how brown or how white you are, in inside we are all the same. . . . .

Pokemon Mania !

What if Pokemon are to be integrated into other popular anime ?
Or even movies?

:) The artist here had a terrible too much times in their hand !

Another random post to read ? Come !
